A tradition of excellence. The Roeser reputation proudly began in 1905 when John Roeser Sr. arrived form Germany to open a wholesale bakery business. John Sr. brought with him his commitment to quality ingredients and superior products when he opened Roeser’s bakery in 1911. John Jr. took over in 1936 and along with his wife Barbara they carried on the quality tradition that has made Roeser’s an institution in Chicago.
