The Purple Steer was started in 1961 by two brothers as a little corner coffee shop located on 106th St. and Ewing in Chicago, IL. That little coffee shop has grown over the past 50 years into an establishment that is commited to quality dining and quality service. Now Located at 8601 Indianapolis Blvd. in Highland, Indiana just minutes from 80/94. The Purple steer is proud to serve the Northwest Indiana community and surrounding areas.
